Responsibilities: Seeking a qualified individual for Customer Service. Candidate will respond to customer servie inquiries and perform a variety of duties related to Customer Service . Must be able to work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Receives, researches, and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding schedules, fares, special services, programs, and other related events.
2. Processes verbal and written requests for system information, programs, additional service and timetables.
3. Receives and answers inquiries from departments and branches regarding Customer Service responsibilities.
4. Receives and logs customer complaints/compliments and suggestions.
5. Updates and maintains the department’s system reference guides.
6. Provides back up functions for Midtown Booth staff.

RGRTA is seeking an energetic, positive, self-starter to develop and maintain in-house applications across the organization utilizing current development languages and techniques. The position will have the initial responsibility of applying the necessary skills to advance the development of RGRTA’s website and mobile applications. Candidates must be detail oriented there will be a great deal of responsibility to review, analyze and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support various business applications and databases.
We expect any candidate to not only be knowledgeable of best practices but to champion, implement and continuously improve RGRTA’s operational and customer technology practices and protocols to ensure adherence to any regulatory compliance requirements, employ change management control, supervise development lifecycle practices, develop policies and safeguard the security and integrity of assigned systems.
Candidates must be able to: 1. Design, encode, test, debug, construct and maintain web applications in C# and VB.Net. 2. Provide expert advice and guidance on Internet technologies, mobile apps and techniques that may be deployed to support organizational initiatives. 3. Work with end users, departments, customers and third party vendors to establish needs, gather requirements, create specifications and develop new programs, as well as design and write code to support existing applications. 4. Responsibilities: Position Overview Regional Transit Service is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed and results oriented person to manage and lead our facilities team. This is a safety sensitive, first line supervisory position responsible to drive the state of good repairs and maintenance working with others to plan preventive maintenance programs/ work orders and to schedule inspections and major overhauls.

Supervises skilled mechanics, unskilled labor, general maintenance; assigns work orders and routine maintenance tasks
Assigns and/or supervises equipment projects and repairs; manages in house construction project; meets established time schedules. Oversees outside contractors, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors; performs follow-up investigations; monitors results of maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and energy management programs. Monitors the status of projects and pending problems; exercises good judgment and problem resolution; shifts workload based on priority demands.

Responsibilities: This is a junior level professional engineering position involving responsibility for preparation and management of plans, specifications and cost estimates for various building, and facility infrastructure capital improvement projects. This employee should be knowledgeable on computer aided design systems and have the required technical skills to solve complex engineering problems associated with transit related facilities. This junior-level engineer receives general supervision from and reports directly to the Director of Engineering and/or Associate Engineer.

Utilizes computer programs to design project elements and prepare plans;
Updates computer files and revises computer programs;
Review monthly payments to contractors and consultants for compliance with contract requirements.
Assists in investigations and studies of proposed facilities;
Assists in preparing State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) forms and reports
Gathers and records engineering data.

Responsibilities: Job Overview: This is a professional position charged to effectively manage and continually improve RGRTA’s Customer Experience and Customer Service. The position will develop operational strategies aligning with the organization's strategic goals incorporating RGRTA’s customer focused values, BHAG’s and metrics. Position is responsible to define and monitor key metrics for the Customer Service Department to measure quality, productivity and the overall customer experience. The position will be involved in strategic and operational input to new product development based on customer data, patterns, trends and feedback. The position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and has wide leeway for independent judgment and decision making with the authority to appropriately resolve complaints and concerns for our customers.

Responsible to schedule, document, forward and follow-up with information to the CEO for any questions, concerns or issues that arise from the Customer Town Hall Meetings. Track patterns and analyzes call data and customer complaints, devises and suggests changes that will improve our overall service to the community.
The position is the contact point for all customer information, pass sales, the effective and efficient scheduling of Lift Line rides within the parameters of the ADA and to ensure quality results that meet metrics for our customers.

Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of buses in the Lift Line fleet to standards set by company regulations for motor vehicle inspections and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Inspect and test equipment at prescribed intervals of time and usage or upon malfunction or breakdown. 2. Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts. Fit and adjust new or repaired parts. 3. Test drive vehicles for diagnosis and completed repair. 4. Notify supervisor of potential dangerous equipment and corrective action taken. 5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment within workstation.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Drive facility repair truck to vehicles broke-down away from facility. Make necessary repairs or change buses. 2. Snow removal including shovel, plow and salt facility lots as necessary. 3. Performs all other assigned duties related to the overall maintenance and repairs of company’s vehicles and Lift Line cars.

Minimum of five years shop experience required. Ability to diagnose and repair air conditioning systems. Diesel experience would be helpful but not required. Entire fleet is medium duty one ton chassis, currently all Fords with 6.0L diesel engines. Experience in hydraulic brake systems. Must be capable of replacing, bleeding and adjusting brake shoes, pads, rotors, wheel bearings and calipers. Experience in a variety of electrical systems including charging, cranking, lights, interlock and lift systems. Familiar with the use of tire equipment for mounting and balancing wheels. Use of torches and welding equipment needed at times. Must become familiar with the operation of our fleet maintenance software system and properly utilize it. Able to receive correction and follow directions as well as being self-managing.
High School graduate or GED required with prior vocational training in diesel mechanics; ASE certification; strong computer literacy skills. Must have a CDL B license with clean driving record. Able to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled form. Required to supply own hand tools. Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities: The Manager of Labor Relations is the central clearinghouse for all matters related to the administration of the Authority’s five collective bargaining agreements and employee policies which includes but is not limited to; policy review, investigatory interviews and investigations and grievance administration. The Manager of Labor Relations will represent the Company at grievance hearings and arbitrations. The Manager of Labor Relations will lead or actively participate in the Collective Bargaining process and provide advice and guidance on all collective bargaining agreements within the company. This position involves extensive contact with all levels of management, including officers, as well as union officials for the purposes of problem and issue resolution, training and negotiating.
The Manager of Labor Relations is also actively involved in employment litigation matters; which include representation of RGRTA before various administrative agencies including the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, New York and United States Departments of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the New York State Division of Human Rights.

The position of Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for identifying and analyzing current process inefficiencies or areas of opportunity across the entire organization. This position will work with various business owners to evaluate, plan and implement process improvements in different functional areas, and set measurements to monitor and control the implemented processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Drive business process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma, LEAN or related methodologies
· Research and analyze current process inefficiencies
· Identify opportunities, present alternatives, make recommendations and develop solutions to critical business issues
· Collect, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
· Define projects to improve performance and drive those projects to completion
· Identify and define key measures and performance targets to maintain processes in control
· Create and review models and methodologies for process improvements
· Work along a Statistical Analyst to conduct complex data analysis
· Conduct team building and group facilitation activities
Requirements: · Black Belt certification in LEAN Six Sigma, obtained through real life project implementation
· Must demonstrate LEAN Six Sigma experience through a portfolio of projects
· Strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical tools and accepted procedures and practices
· 5+ years of experience using statistical and analytical tools, e.g., Excel, Minitab, SPSS, etc.
· 3+ years of experience in LEAN manufacturing

Offers advice and support to individuals and Department heads charged with documenting and developing good performance measurement practices.
Requirements: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Critical thinking skills; strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical tools and accepted procedures and practices; proficient in Microsoft Excel; advance knowledge of Minitab or other statistical tools; detail oriented; ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; experience implementing or working with ISO certification
Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics or Statistics; • Master’s degree (or higher) in statistics preferred • Three (3) years of full time professional experience in performing work in the field of the degree received. • Experience performing statistical analysis in the manufacturing industry preferred

It is also responsible for providing data management, records management, project management, and analytic support for all functions and projects of the Research and Development/Performance Measurement Department. This position reports directly to the Director of Research & Development.
